The Beatles Through the Years

Released in the UK on October 5, 1962, “Love Me Do” was the debut single of British rock band The Beatles. At the time, the English rock band was still relatively unknown, and the record became an unexpected hit, rising to Number 17 on the UK charts. The song, written by then-16-year-old Paul McCartney, features McCartney and John Lennon’s vocals, along with the band’s catchy accompaniment. In honor of the song that kickstarted The Beatles’ success, CR MEN looks back at the band throughout the days of Beatlemania.
