Creative Director Stuart Vevers takes Shanghai’s Exhibition Center back in time in an American experience of an evening at the drive-in cinema in a Chevrolet Bel Air. The American fashion house debuted a special episode “Coach TV: Live from Shanghai,” with a physical runway show with a local cast for the winter collection comprised of 45 looks to take guests on a journey.
The collection focuses on outerwear including shearling jackets, beanies, velvet maxis, and a new Studio bag inspiring an adventurous attitude as the world reopens post-pandemic. As Vevers notes, “Our winter collection is inspired by a sense of adventure and our hopes for tomorrow.” Going around the world, is something we all desire and is on Coach’s radar as they aim to broadcast live runway shows. This season, Shanghai was in mind to celebrate the optimism of Shanghai’s next generation with Coach’s family: Jeremy Lin, Yang Zi, Kōki, Xiao Wen Ju, Rickey Thompson, Ke Fan, and Ding Nan.
