Love is love, and Savage X Fenty is on board. Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie brand launched its first Pride collection on June 1 in honor of Pride Month. The collection, which has been aptly named Savage X Pride, celebrates inclusivity, authenticity, and diversity.
The campaign, photographed by Quil Lemons, features several members of the LGBTQIA+ community including RuPaul Drag Race favorite Gigi Goode, MaryV Benoit, Yusef Williams, Dexter Mayfield, Jazzelle Zanaughtti, Jazzmyne Robbins, Rahquise Bowen, Ahmad Kanu, Noah Carlos, Aya Brown, Jaslene White Rose, Elíseo Equihua, and Zachary Tye Richardson. Fenty Beauty Global Makeup Artist Hector Espinal was in charge of beauty.
“Pride is all about appreciating your authentic self. I am very excited about this collection and showing love and support to the LGBTQIA+ community, which includes so many of our customers, team members and fans,” Rihanna said.
There’s something for everyone in this collection, from simple color palettes to extravagant rainbow designs. Pieces include stockings, bralettes, unisex boxer briefs, smoking jackets, crop tops, a kitty whip, jock straps, pants, and more. Though almost everything features the rainbow motif in some way, some pieces have it displayed more prominently than others.
It’s not just any collection, either. These pieces give back, too: Savage x Fenty will also donate 0,000 from the sale of the June Pride capsule collection to the Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) and GLAAD in its effort to support LGBTQIA+ organizations and their initiatives. In partnership with CLF, proceeds from each purchase will go to GLAAD as well as the Audre Lorde Project, The Caribbean Equality Project, INC., Trans Latin@ Coalition, and the Trans Wellness Center.
As usual with Fenty, the collection is available in a wide range of inclusive sizes, from XS-3X and bras from 30A–42H.
