It was announced today that Tom Ford will once again dress James Bond for the upcoming action adventure No Time To Die. The film, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and starring Daniel Craig as the legendary secret agent, will be released in cinemas globally on April 2, 2020.
This partnership will be the fourth-consecutive time Tom Ford has dressed 007, but also marks the designer’s first time costuming a female character in the franchise. In addition to Bond’s iconic handcrafted suits, Lashana Lynch’s new character, Nomi, sports Ford’s tailor-made jackets, tops, and accessories.
Known for his elegant cuts, luxe fabrics, and hand-finished details, Ford worked closely with costume designer Suttirat Anne Larlarb in order to deliver made-to-measure clothes worthy of these two characters. For their onscreen appearances, the designer provided a plethora of pieces that included everything from refined evening wear to casual denim.
“I could not be happier to be dressing Daniel Craig as James Bond again in the upcoming film, No Time To Die,” Ford commented. “James Bond epitomizes the Tom Ford man in his elegance, style, and love of luxury. It is an honor to move forward with this iconic character.”END
