Oliver Peoples and The Row are adding a selection of new frames to their collaborative collection of sunglasses. The two have perfected the fresh look of retro eyewear, with silhouettes harkening back to those of the ‘60s and ‘70s. Now welcoming the ’90s into the mix, the newest additions reference the minimal eyewear aesthetic that starlets like Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt sported. With a balance between masculine and feminine, the frames boast a sleek metal or acetate body with perfectly tinted lenses. The vintage vibe is amplified in a fresh way through the Southern California roots of both brands.
Additions include new colorways of favorite frames from the existing collection. The Board Meeting 2 and After Midnight are now available with marine blue lenses, and the Brownstone 2 comes in silver shale, a silver wire frame, and steely gray lenses.
Two aviator styles are also introduced into the mix. The Victory LA features a square shape, and the Aero has a streamlined round silhouette. The former comes in a gold frame with dark gray lenses, while the latter is available in silver with either mustard or purple tinted lenses.
The collection also gets a bit of body in the form of acetate frames. A Wayfarer style comes in a clear or a black frame, and a new rounded rectangle frame also gives a retro feel in a sophisticated tortoiseshell, sheer violet, or brown.
The Oliver Peoples x The Row shades will be available to shop in Oliver Peoples stores and online this week.END
