It’s already known that Kanye West has a place in his heart for Calabasas, which is but one of the U.S. cities where the rapper and his wife Kim call home. In a show of allegiance, the town’s name has been featured prominently on several pieces in the rapper’s Yeezy Fall 2017 street wear collection. Now, as reported by TMZ, West is looking to design sports uniforms for Calabasas High School.
Calabasas athletics has become increasingly high profile, with many alumni that have gone pro, like Daniel Steres who is on the LA Galaxy Soccer team. The school also has an official sponsorship from sportswear giant and frequent Kanye collaborator, Adidas. In exchange for a sizeable donation to CHS, it’s West wants to switch the mascot from a coyote to a wolf in homage to himself. A track on his last album, Life of Pablo, is titled Wolves.
As of now there are no further details, school officials are still deciding whether to go forward with the project. It’s safe to say that the players will be able to pay off their college tuition by selling their Yeezy-designed uniforms on eBay.END
