With the help of flashing neon strobe lights and a mystical soundtrack, Celine unveils an electric atmosphere in its newly debuted Haute Parfumerie Nightclubbing campaign video. When the video begins, the viewer is greeted with a man’s upper-body juxtaposed against a pitch black screen. Just as the soundtrack starts settling in with a soothing piano playing in the background, the performer engages in what appears to be a form of contemporary dance all the while colorful bursts of light bounce off his moving body. Both the dancer’s body and the vivid beams follow the pace of the music, ending with an eruption of color and twirling that elude to a nightclub-esque environment Celine emulates through its fragrance.
Thanks to the creative direction of Hedi Slimane, the Celine Haute Parfumerie fragrance collection made quite a splash when it debuted in 2019. The nine-scent collection (two more will launch later this year) was the brand’s first fragrance drop in over 55 years, with each bottle’s aroma recreating memories from Slimane’s personal journal.
