Kim Kardashian’s First Makeup Drop Will Include a Contour Kit

START body

No surprises here. Kim Kardashian has confirmed that her upcoming KKW Beauty range will include a contouring kit. She revealed the product detail during a backstage interview at the Forbes Women’s Summit yesterday. Launching June 21st, the cream-based contour kit will be part of the line’s first drop in addition to a highlighter and a dual-ended brush for seamless blending. .

Kardashian told Forbes: “I change my looks up all the time, but the one thing that’s consistent is contour.” Later in the interview, Kim explained that she’s planning to release one new product every month for the forthcoming future. “Hopefully every month we’ll have a drop of another product. I’m focusing on skin and the contouring, and concealer—and all my favorite things will be coming out soon,” she said.

Ever the social media pro, Kim has already been drumming up excitement for future launches via Snapchat. In a photo shared this week, she revealed that she was in a fragrance meeting. Her continual updates are proof to fans who might question how involved she is in KKW Beauty’s production. In order to keep a watchful eye over the line, she’s having everything made near her home in California. Such close geographic proximity makes it easy for Kim to visit the brand’s headquarters and provide personal input whenever necessary. “You should see my house at home is filled with every shade (of cosmetic sample),” she continued.

With the help of her longtime makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, Kim said that she’s always dreamed of creating her own makeup line. She was motivated to make KKW Beauty a reality after witnessing the reception of her collaboration with sister Kylie’s net-grossing company, Kylie Cosmetics, back in April of this year.
