Frank Ocean is taking a dive into the world of luxury fashion with his new brand, Homer. The “Blonde” singer announced the launch of his independent American luxury brand late last week.
The luxury brand’s first collection will include an array of printed silk scarfs and jewelry made with 18k gold, recycled sterling silver, hand-painted enamel, and lab-grown diamonds. Pieces from Homer’s collection were designed by Ocean in New York and hand-made in Italy. Campaign images were shot by photographer, Tyrone Lebon, who also shot Frank Ocean’s “Nike” music video.
Ocean has also teased an upcoming potential collab with luxury fashion brand, Prada. Ocean has worked with Prada in the past, being featured in campaigns for the brand and wearing a Prada hoodie at the 2019 Met Gala.
The shop opens today with limited wak in appointments at their retail location in New York located at 70-74 Bowery. Appointments to shop can be made at the company’s website, or by calling or instant messaging the store using the app, Signal. Price ranges for Homer’s first collection are between 5 to .9 million.
