La Perla Celebrates Six Decades of Craftsmanship With a Capsule Collection

To celebrate its 65th year as a symbol of luxurious femininity, lingerie powerhouse La Perla released a beautifully stripped-down capsule collection. Designed by Creative Director Alessandra Bertuzzi, Macramé Noir is an exploration and celebration of female beauty.

To answer the question “What role does La Perla lingerie play in the lives of women today?,” the collection emphasizes both functionality and sensuality through its diverse lineup of wardrobe staples. Along with its calling card lineup of intimates, from triangle bralettes to silk slips, Macramé Noir features silk blazers and clean-cut trousers in the label’s classic elegance.

An homage to La Perla’s craftsman roots, the collection was inspired by the ancient art of macramé. Sixty-five years ago, La Perla founder Ada Masotti was the first to bring macramé into the lingerie space. Every garment, down to the eye mask and wrist cuffs, boasts a unique macramé design, created exclusively for La Perla on traditional Swedish looms.

The 65th Anniversary Macramé Noir Collection is now available online and in select La Perla stores.
