If you happen to follow New York slash Los Angeles life emporium The Line on Instagram, you’ll have noticed that there’s been an abundance of posts relating to a new ready-to-wear label titled Khaite. That’s because the brand is set to be officially unveiled for pre-order tonight at the store’s Manhattan location and because it’s the third brand-ever to be backed by The Line’s founder, Vanessa Traina.
The brainchild of designer Catherine Holstein, Khaite focuses on simple silhouettes, elevated by extremely luxurious fabrics and fluidly flattering cuts. Each piece is designed to be easy-to-wear and incorporate into the everyday wardrobe. Knits, shirting, denim, and an elegant riff on sports separates are included in the debut Fall 2016 collection.
Khaite joins Protagonist and Tenfold in Traina’s fashion portfolio called Assembled Brands, which she began in partnership with Adam Pritzker in 2013.
Head to theline.com to pre-order your favorite piece from the collection or wait until mid-July when it will become available instore at The Line Los Angeles and New York, as well the store’s summer pop-up shop in Amagansett.
