Riccardo Tisci’s first launch post-exiting Givenchy is a brand new range of sneakers for NikeLab. The follow up to his 2016 sought-after collection with the sports giant (which saw him reinterpret Nike’s iconic Dunk style that shot to fame of the feet of basketball players in the late ’90s), this year’s NikeLab Dunk Lux Chukka x RT is similar to last’s, but with some more exaggerated features. New and notable additions include a memory foam collar and tongue, enlarged lace eyelets, and an elongated Nike swoosh up and around the heel.
For the sneaker’s accompanying promotional imagery, Tisci tapped Bella Hadid—sans trousers—for her first official role since signing on as a Nike spokesmodel last November. In the ad, Hadid perches atop Tisci’s lap as they both stare broodingly into the camera.END
