After skipping the Grammys last year due to creative differences with the award show’s producers, Ariana Grande is back, and she sure knows how to make an entrance.
Grande’s looks tonight—yes, “looks” plural—channeled Cinderella: Her first dress, which was custom Giambattista Valli, included layers upon layers of gray tulle. She paired it with opera-length gloves and her signature high ponytail, which she appears to have dyed blonde for the occasion. Next up, the “thank u, next” star switched into a similarly dramatic gray two-piece ensemble by Schiaparelli, telling reporters that she couldn’t decide on which dress to wear, so she wore them both. Celebrities: They’re just like us.
Grande, who’s up for five awards including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo-Group Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album, is also slated to perform tonight. No word yet on which tracks she’ll grace us with or who she’ll hit the stage with, but if her recent Instagram post is any indication, it’s going to be a real crowd-pleaser.END
