Last week Carine opened doors to a special pop-up space in New York’s SoHo neighborhood to welcome her long awaited line of perfumes, 7 Lovers, to life.
The lounge-like boutique, which was designed in collaboration with Etienne Russo’s agency Villa Eugénie (known for collaborating with Chanel, Hermès, and Miu Miu), transformed the seven scents to life, inviting visitors to travel to each of fragrances’ locales of inspiration. From Vladimir in Saint Petersburg to Paris’ Aurélien, a spicy story of enigmatic allure, each “lover” shared their stories and left a hint of smell for safe keeping. (Full bottles are available now online and at Net-A-Porter.) A metallic globe at the space’s entrance brought the concept to physicality, while plush seating invited passerby inside to learn more.
To kick off the week-long pop-up, Carine hosted a VIP event Saturday night, where CR favorite girls clinked Belvedere cocktail glasses with fashion designers like Tom Ford and Peter Dundas as well as friends and family from on-screen and in the arts.
In partnership with Gianvito Rossi, a spectacularly leggy performance welcomed guests inside the party, while Devialet speakers took us on an auditorial tour throughout the world.
On the final day of the temporary space, Mother’s Day, Whitney Bromberg Hawkings (often called “fashion’s favorite florist”) brought her acclaimed FlowerBX to New York City with a special pop-in at the pop-up. Visitors were treated to special flower arrangements as they perused the space.END
